You're Right! I had the Vertibird Rescue Ship which was a Coast Guard Ship made of styrofoam with the helicopter and launch pad. Apparentlly there were problems with kids putting the Ships in the pool and bathtub shorting them out. The Vertibird was a lightweight helicopter that really flew and could be controlled with 2 joy sticks. Throttle fast or slow, buzz high, buzz low, start, stop and hover. It was attached to a rotating rod so you could only fly around in circles. The helicopter had a hook on it so you can fly low, pick things up and carry them to safety. There were many different Versions of the Vertibird including the Rescue Ship, Police, Space Ship Rescue etc . It was powered by 4 D batteries. Too bad I didn't keep mine, they're worth BIG $$$ if you still have one.
